I've been using RustCheck, it has a thickener that helps keep it in place, but it also flows very well when you apply it with a cable lube tool.

kewl on the rustcheck, I never thought about trying it.  How long have you ben running it as a lube?

Does it collect dust on the exposed part of the cable?
