Alrighty, I'll make it quick. As stated in the description, this is more geared towards the secondary highways, cause from my experience that will be where you will find most of us riders. It however is not limited to the secondary highways, feel free to add in any road that you think will be or could be frequented by riders. Below I have made a quick outline as to what information should be included in a post for a road.

This is just a basic layout that shows the minimum information that should be passed along to other riders. I have broken down what each section means so that there hopefully isn’t any confusion:
Road Name: Just as it states, examples “HWY 357” , “Shore Road” , etc…
Road Location: A quick description of the location, should be short but informative. Example “Halifax County, running from Middle Musquodoboit to Musquodoboit Harbour”
Road Type: Tell what type of road it is and what to expect for driving. Example “Slightly winding road with sections of tight turns.”
Road Condition: How is the road to ride on? Any unexpected rough sections or hazards should be pointed out in the comments/notes section. You can also narrow it down to “Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor” (Yeah I know, makes you feel like your back in elementary school) Excellent being an almost perfect road with no rough sections, usually freshly paved roads. Good being a decent road with maybe a notable section here or there. Fair, pretty much keep your eyes open when your riding. Poor, passable with caution.
Distance: If you know the estimate length in KM then that would be great, but feel free to use how long the drive takes going the posted speed limit.
Posted Speed Limit: What's the normal speed on the road? If its not all 1 speed, then just add in the highest and lowest. Example “Mostly 80km/h with 50km/h sections” also “80-50km/h” would work as well.
Comments / Notes: This is where you put in all the stuff that doesn’t fit above, or anything that you need to add in from what you said above. Such as maybe an explanation of the road conditions, any sudden sharp turns, sudden hazard, where different speed zones start/stop, better detail of where the road is located, rest stops along the road, points of interest, and just about anything else you would want/like to say about the road.
Pictures: Linked pictures are preferred, but I know that’s not always possible. If you are going to upload your own pictures please keep the size no bigger then 640 X 480 and no more then 100KB in size.
Please check this every now and then as this is fairly new and things may change as the need arises.
