Does Shubie actually Have Track Days?
« on: August 25, 2008, 08:45:04 AM »
Was wondering is Shubie ever opens its gates for track days?  Meaning anyone can get on (so long as their bike is preped) and ride for the day.  Not racing, but just building skill or keeping the speed to the track.

Go to atlanticroadracing.com and they will tell you more usually its on the forums but they used to have test and tune days. I am not sure how hte rules go as I all I can remmeber is them arguing on a thread as to whether you needed to have your track school license as well or just race prepped.....I THOUGHT you had to have hte track school course passed under your belt but I am not remmebering the outcome right now and am too lazy to look. :D But that site shoul dhave hte answers for ya.
I do whatever the little voices tell me to.

You have to have taken the school unless you are there under one of the companies that have their own insurance.  Atlantic Motoplex has track days that don't require a race license and only require minimal bike prep.  If you are looking at doing it through ARL you will need to have taken the school.  You should call Atlantic Motoplex though as last I heard they were having a problem filling all of the spaces.

Just an update on this, Shubie does allow the track days without having the training.  Also the track prep is pretty easy too.
