Group Rides this year?
«

Anyone been out on any group rides this year? So far I havn't actually seen a whole lot of bikes around, which is kind of wierd. But hoping that things might pick up a bit around here, might even make my way to hailfax in the soon weekends to see if I can find some people to hang around with myself

I'll be in Halifax from Friday the 22 through till sunday the 24. If the weather holds I am hoping to have the bike up to tour around and see what the scene is like that way. Will be staying in Chezzacook, you should drop me an email while I'm up there, we'll grab a coffee my treat

sweet deal, weather (long range forecast anyway) looks like it should hold out for the weekend, might be some clouds but I can live with that

I have never riding in a group larger than 2, I like it that way, I like getting out by myself. More relaxing.

yeah know what you mean, I usually don't go on large group rides, at most I like 4. After that it just gets conjested anyway, but usually I do paired riding. I have a local friend that I get out with quite a bit and I travel with Mel

I don't even really like going to Timmies when the big crowds of bikes are there. Half those people only ride to Tims then back home to the garage to shine the chrome. The bike never gets out between Wed. Nights

I've been taking the long way home just to get seat time. I've logged a WHOPPING 350 kms, in the last six weeks.
