Just looking to see if anyone uses these on their bars or has put on a set of high rise clamp-ons?
I switched to a sport bike this year and love every minute of it other than my nagging elbow injury gets a little sore
now and again so I bought a set of High Rise Tarozzi clipons to offset this..They have a good amount of adjustment to them and I can adjust almost 2" in height and 1" back using the stock cables...
The install shouldn't take very long from what I'm told so we'll see what happens....

I've never installed risers on a sport bike but have wrenched with a few cruisers in my day. Install is fairly simple except when cables run up through the handlebars. One thing to keep an eye on is your cable and line tentions when steering is cut hard right or left. There should still have some play in them, if not you may be able to reroute them to gain some needed length.

Soupie is right. Be very careful of the throttle cable(s), mark sure it returns quickly to idle at all steering angles. You don't want to go into a hard turn and have it stick,.

I hear ya there!!! ..... From what I've read from other forums with guys having these, I should be good but before it hits the road, I'll turn the bars as much as they can go, rev it up and let go of the throttle to see if it comes back to idle immediately like it should...hopefully this won't be too bad of a job to do...

+1 to the cables, but as long as you do a good test before your ride you should be fine. I have installed and used risers on my old Ninja that I had, they worked great for it, though I did end up removing them once I started riding harder as I found better feel with them off, but for road riding, you should be great

Funny you ask.. I just installed them last night but need to do some fine tuning to free up
some cable length on the throttle side for both the throttle and brake lines.......
There is no definative directions to install them so it's a lot of trial and error...
I may have to take them off and go back to the original ones if I can't free up enough cable.... I know I can install longer
cables but I'm not interested in spending $200-$300 on new cables... I'm hoping to get to them tomorrow afternoon...
I find the bike comfy with the original bars but just wanted to see if it could me made more comfy without costing a big bundle of cash

I wish you luck. I'm sure you already know, rerouting them sometimes helps give you a little more length.

also before you ever spend that kind of money on cables, try toads for some. May not be the OEM cables, but get the length and type of what you want and they will usually get you something good for a lot cheaper. I think 2 throttle cables and a clutch cable cost me $60 from toads all new.

After a lot of debating and moving cables... I swapped back to the old bars....
I just wasn't satisfied with the new risers so I took them off...
It was a combination of things that made my decision..
First it was having to buy new cables that I really didn't want to get into but things snowballed after that....
Even after I got the bars where I wanted them (before I decided to go back), I had serious clearance issues with my windscreen.. my levers would make contact without the bars fully turned....so I moved them until clearance was ok but now they weren't comfortable
My brake fluid res. ended up having to be mounted where it would block the view of my gauges and make it a pain in the butt to get at the ignition...
I would also have to get another set of mirrors because I could only see my elbows and arms thru them.....
So I went back online to research these issues because I'm frustrated beyond belief at this point and I come to find out that this set is intended to be used on the naked version of my bike .... they could work but only after all of the extra things I would have to buy..
I said piss on it and took them off......

if you mean have the clamps on top of the triple instead... I'd have to buy a new triple set up to do it..
